World Children's Day

On the 25-26 May 2024, we celebrate the first World Children’s Day.

The initiative aims to place the condition of children at the centre, offering a space for reflection on their future and on the world we intend to deliver to them. An opportunity to underline the importance of the role of the new generations as protagonists of the future.

As the gatherings happen in Rome, Pope Francis is encouraging children around the world to participate, and for people around the world to celebrate children and their intrinsic value.
