Father Fretch Ballesteros joined our trustee board in 2023. He is a 2005 graduate of the Sisters of Mary boys’ school in Cebu, Philippines. As one of the graduates of the education programmes, he provides us with a unique insight into the challenges faced by children from the poorest regions and how the work of the Sisters of Mary and World Villages for Children together changes the lives of these boys and girls.
Fr. Fretch joined the Society of Divine Vocations in 2006 in the Philippines and subsequently moved to the UK to serve as a Catholic priest. He is now serving in the Archdiocese of Birmingham. Despite the calls on his time from his very busy and committed role, he is an active trustee, grateful for the help he received from the Sisters and dedicated to supporting WVC so we can provide similar opportunities for children in the future.
