On the 6th and 7th July 2023, we were thrilled to have a visit from Sister Elena, the new Superior General and Chair of World Villages for Children UK, Sister Maria, the outgoing Superior General, and Sister Margarita from the Mexico programmes.
The Sisters spent time with our team, giving us updates on their work and an insight into how the children are doing around the world as well as updates about the needs of children in the poorest regions. The visit was however focused on meeting with our generous supporters and thanking them for their longstanding loyalty, interest and commitment to our work, caring for the world’s poorest children.
It was a really special time and a chance to share insight and strategy from the programmes and connect with the wonderful people from around the UK who hold World Villages for Children so close to their hearts.
