Payroll Giving, also known as Give As You Earn (GAYE), is a tax-efficient way for employees in the UK to contribute towards charitable causes they care deeply about via their regular salary or pension. It offers benefits for supporters and charities alike.
Your donation is taken directly from your salary and tax relief is applied at your highest rate of Income Tax. For example, if you donate £10 a month, your taxable income is reduced by this
This enables us to help the Sisters of Mary to plan efficiently for the future in helping more children into our care.

Employers who offer payroll giving enhance their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) profile and demonstrate their commitment to charities and humanitarian causes that employees care about.
It is a win-win for all parties involved – the employee, the employer, the charity, and ultimately, those who most need our support.
The impact of regular gifts through these schemes is invaluable. Last year, the income from our payroll giving supporters helped us to feed and clothe thousands of the children at our schools around the world. It helped us to ensure these poorest boys and girls could stay safe in our care and thrive in their studies.

Despite the substantial benefits for donors and charities alike, the number of employers offering Payroll Giving has decreased by 15% since 2015/16. This means that thousands of PAYE employees are missing out on the chance to give tax-efficiently.
Help us to ensure that every PAYE employee can access the tax relief available to them when giving to charity.
The organisers of Payroll Giving Month are leading a petition to urge all UK employers to adopt a scheme. You can lend your voice to ask all UK employers to adopt this tax-efficient, simple, and flexible scheme, thereby facilitating an easy way for millions to support causes that matter most to them.
