Support World Villages for children through a trust or foundation.

Charitable trusts and foundations play an important role in helping World Villages reach, and transform the lives of some of the poorest and most vulnerable children in the Philippines, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Brazil and Tanzania.

Grants received through Trusts and Foundations make a material difference in providing essential care, food, education, and equipment for our schools across the world.

Support World Villages with grants towards:

  • A specific project or need
  • Providing all of our children’s most basics needs – food, shelter, clothing, education needs etc.

How your support will help thousands of children worldwide

The countries in which we work are some of the poorest in the world – and where the care and education we provide would otherwise be impossible for the children of poor families to access in any other way. Children are disproportionately affected by poverty and the effects of a poor start in life last a lifetime.

We know that education is key to ending poverty and children need to be in a safe, secure and loving environment to learn.

With your help, we can provide top-quality education to children who would otherwise have little or no formal schooling. We support them as they leave school to secure a good job. Each child, in turn, can help their families and communities by providing access to better nutrition, healthcare, shelter and education, showing what is possible when you believe and invest in children.

Why we need your support

As a partner trust or foundation, your support enables us to deliver long-term, sustainable education programmes which permanently transform children’s lives and have a profound effect on their families and communities, breaking the cycle of poverty that has often persisted for generations.

We work in line with the UN policy on Sustainable Development Goals and the principles of economic development from the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.

When you support us and help a child living in extreme poverty you are helping a family, a community and a country.

356 Million

An estimated 356 million children live in extreme poverty deprived of the basics for survival like food, shelter and healthcare.

2x Poverty

Children are more than twice as likely as adults to live in extreme poverty and the consequences of poverty last children a lifetime.

263 Million

263 million children, adolescents and youth around the world are out of school. When you support us and help a child living in extreme poverty you are helping a family, a community and a country.
