Charitable trusts and foundations play an important role in helping World Villages reach, and transform the lives of, vulnerable children in the Philippines, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Brazil and Tanzania.
If you’re a trustee, have contact with a trust, or perhaps are setting one up then we would love to hear from you.
A life lived in poverty with little or no access to a quality education is the reality for the children we seek to support. The children are living in deprivation lacking basic necessities, with no hope of an opportunity to get out and end the cycle of poverty that continues into the next generation.
World Villages for Children provides the funding needed to support life-saving programmes, delivering full-time care and education to vulnerable boys and girls living in poverty around the world. We help these children to learn skills, acquire employment and transform their difficult early childhoods into self-sufficient, productive lives free from poverty in order to create systemic change.
We work in line with the UN policy of Sustainable Development Goals and the principles of economic development from DFID (Department for International Development).
