At World Villages for Children, we believe that every child – no matter where they’re born – deserves the chance to flourish.
Working alongside the Sisters of Mary, we provide nearly 21,000 children each year in the Philippines, Mexico, Guatemala, Brazil, Honduras, and Tanzania a safe place at school, a quality education, and a future they can build on.
Not just for themselves, but for their families and communities for generations to come.
Why it works
We don’t just meet immediate needs. We break cycles. When a child graduates from one of our programmes, they leave with accredited academic qualifications, practical vocational skills, and the confidence to find work and support their family.
Over 170,000 children have already done exactly that. Many go on to support their siblings’ education. Some return to teach. A few join the Sisters themselves. One life changed ripples outward in ways we can barely measure.
