Early life

Antony has three younger brothers and despite both his parents working full time, they do not have enough to keep food on the table for the family.

Antony came to Amarateca Boystown in January 2024, hoping that this opportunity at a free education can help his family out of poverty.

Fixing a broken smile

An accident at home in 2023 caused Antony to break his front tooth. His confidence has suffered and he is too timid to smile and show his tooth. His parents could not afford dental treatment to fix the tooth, so Antony hopes that the dental clinic at Amarateca Boystown can give him his confidence back.

Treatment

Antony requires an endodontic pin and a fixed dental crown to repair his front tooth – this costs approximately £260.
