A very special birthday celebration

Every Child’s Birthday on 15th August was a wonderful day of celebration for every child in our care around the world.

Thanks to the kindness of our supporters, alumni of the programmes and with a special blessing from Cardinal Vincent Nichols, the Archbishop of Westminster, all our boys and girls enjoyed an extra special birthday.

Every child had an individual present to open on their birthday morning and a whole day full of fun games, activities, competitions and, most importantly, no lessons!

The day culminated in a celebration birthday party, with some special treats including cake with candles.

The children were thrilled and amazed with their day and made new memories which will last them in the years ahead. Most importantly though they were deeply touched by the birthday wishes sent by our friends around the world.
