Birthday 2020

On August 15th all our boys and girls – and that’s 20,000 of them – celebrated their birthday. This very special day is a welcome break from the realities of the outside world. It’s a lesson-free day where the children can enjoy themselves and have a much-needed rest. The annual celebration also serves as a way to show them that they are now in a safe and loving environment.
