Thank you for supporting girls' education in Brazil through the Big Give
Thanks to the amazing support from everyone who took part in the Big Give 2025, we were able to purchase the physics and science textbooks for our grade 7, 8 and 9 girls in Brasilia Girlstown, Brazil in March this year. That is 450 girls who now have the books they need to learn science and technology skills that will help them to find good jobs when they leave school.
These books will transform their learning. It will ensure they have up to date knowledge ready for the jobs available locally. Technology is evolving quickly so our girls need to stay up to date with new techniques and technologies. With these new books they can do that.
Thank you for your kindness
Your kindness will ensure that the 150 girls in each year have enough text books for one each and are able to study well.
They will be able to pass their national exams, certified and ready for work and the books will also help the girls who come in the years afterwards so the support will touch the lives of many hundreds of the children who are amongst the poorest in the world.
The girls in Brasilia, all the teachers and Sisters wanted to send their sincere thanks to you for your generosity and sacrifice in ensuring they can have equal access to a quality education and the educational supplies that are so necessary to make this possible.
